Hudson has become a mecca for collectors of antiques with nearly 100 antique dealers. The town is also listed on the National Historic Registry and has fine examples of Colonial, Federal, Greek Revival and Victorian architecture. Hudson is rich in entertainment as well. Choose to dine at a number of fine restaurants or go to several theaters in the area for live performances. Or go shopping in the many gift shops and art galleries on Warren Street.

Explore the National Museum of Firefighting in Hudson and don't miss the famous antique airplane air shows at the Aerodrome in Rhinebeck. Take a short drive to Stockbridge, MA (Norman Rockwell Museum), Lenox, MA (Tanglewood), Saratoga, NY (Horse Racing) and Woodstock, NY or take Amtrak to New York City which is a beautiful 2 hour ride down the banks of the Hudson River. Go fly fishing in beautiful trout streams or kayak on the Hudson River or local lakes. Or, visit many of the State parks in the area where you can pass the time bird watching or hiking in some of the most beautiful country in America. Pick your own in-season herbs, flowers and vegetables right on the Vintage East property or visit a number of pick-your-own fruit and vegetable farms in the area. And, don't miss the Dutchess and Columbia County Fairs.
